Jason Hall was originally built in 1958. Over the years, an addition was made to the front of the building, along with several other minor renovations.

The first phase of the Jason Hall renovation took place with an installation of a new HVAC system, a new basketball court and bleacher system. In 2008, the second phase addressed safety issues within the building, such as updating the sprinkler system. The Physical Education department received a new office complex, complete with private offices and a conference room. New audio/visual equipment was also installed in the PE classrooms. The coaches' offices were also renovated to allow for more privacy. The locker rooms were completely redone and a new weight room with state-of-the-art equipment was constructed. The restrooms, ticket booth and concessions area were also remodeled. Finally, a new Daktronics scoreboard was installed in the gym to allow fans the chance to see up-to-the-second player points and other stats.

Another phase of renovation was completed in the summer of 2019, as the court in Jason Gym was completely redone thanks to support from Legends Bank. A brand new court, complete with the re-branded Blue Tiger head logo in the center and MIAA logos inside the keys, has served as the home of Lincoln's men's and women's basketball teams since the 2019-20 season.
